Re: Is being turned on supposed to be a good feeling?

I'm ace, but the kind of ace who enjoys reading porn about and fantasizing about fictional characters fucking.

Personally, I love feeling turned on. I love the physical feeling of it, but I think what I love most is the way being turned on changes how I think. Rationality and intellect kind of fade into the background a bit, and everything just kind of narrows down to sex thoughts. And there's a kind of momentum to it, so that thinking about sex (I my case, thinking about my OTP fucking) becomes way more arousing than it was before I was turned on.

OTOH, I was an extremely active little kid, and I accidentally gave myself orgasms a few times when I was really young (like six or seven), from climbing fireman's poles and straddling monkey bars and whatnot. And back then, I always experienced the feeling as bad. It was so strong, and I didn't know what it was, and I had no control over it when it happened, so my brain interpreted that as feeling bad, rather than good.
