I'm stupid jealous of anyone who snags voice acting work, even if they do a shitty job and it's for a shitty production. I would love to get into it, though I realize it can be physically taxing (vocal chords).

I didn't play the Remaster, but that's a little disappointing to hear about Rikku's and Wakka/Kimahri's actors. I remember video games pre-2001 where the voice acting was such an afterthought that they'd pick anybody to do it, even non-actors who were there for a completely different job (though to be fair, script dialogue wasn't as long back then). I was so glad all of that changed... but if established VAs are just phoning it in now, that's unfortunate. :/
