Hmm maybe Above&Beyond, Awolnation and I guess you probably know these but Imagine Dragons and Bastille have a lot of dramatic stuff.

I'll check them out, thanks :)
The only one of these I know is Imagine Dragons, and I find most of their music... too slow for my taste. The only one of theirs that I liked despite being slowish was that new one they used in the LOL promo, Warriors.
Do you know if they have other songs in that vein?

Hmm maybe Bleeding Out, it's slightly similar (though also slowish).

For Imagine Dragons I would say Battle Cry, Who We Are, and Friction. I'm So Sorry is pretty good too with a really dramatic ending. Unfortunately their more dramatic stuff doesn't tend to do as well.

Outside of that I would recommend Les Friction (Their songs tend to build slow and build to something faster), Hi-Finnesse, Hidden Citizens, J2, Yuki Kajiura. Have you also tried Symphonic/Gothic Metal bands? They tend to be quite dramatic. Try Within Temptation (The Truth Beneath The Rose is a great place to start, along with Paradise [feat. Tarja, not the Coldplay cover], The Heart of Everything, Iron, and In The Middle of The Night. There's also Nightwish, who I would recommend Nemo, Wish I had an Angel, and End of all Hope. Also Unleashed by Epica.

Two Steps From Hell has some good instrumentals as well :)

Nemo and Wish I had an Angel are both favorites of mine :)), and same for Within Temptation!
I will go dig up the rest of the things you mentioned, thanks so much!

Those two bands are kind of a must for anyone who likes dramatic music. I hope you like the rest :) Though I forgot to warn you that some of the Imagine Dragons songs can start off a bit slow as well but that makes everything that much more dramatic when it kicks in.
