I have a Fire 7. $50 two years ago and worth every penny. Read, browse the net, play games. BMuch cheaper than even the ipad mini, and the battery lasts about 4x as long (and the interface is better).

Yup, I had a gen 2 for a couple years then upgraded to a gen 3. I love being able to browse the internet and read books in bed.
