I got a "Bella" brand ceramic electric kettle recently, and it was definitely one of the best purchases I've made recently! (I needed something that didn't have plastic bits that would release chemical fumes.) Anyway it's amazing, no regrets, I'd never want to be without one again. It does a great job making lots of hot water, and best of all it's safe. I can turn it on and walk away and not burn the house down. Yay for safety! \*.*/
