And for the same reasons you listed -- it's boring (because it's "slice-of-life" and doesn't have big monsters or things exploding or mechas etc) and it doesn't have any "hot guys" (because none of the dudes are big muscular body builders with long hair and women's faces).

1. ME TOO. Woe to the guy who might someday be my boyfriend. Disney is guilty of "warping" me, too ;) I have all these cliches in my head and would be super disappointed if none of them happened.

I adore this manga, it's so cool =D Don't be ashamed, if anything it's anti-shoujo in that the girl is lazy and blunt, and is cute but chooses to wear baggy clothes and a baseball hat, rather than the CUTEST NEW FASHIONS complete with little star hair clips and frilled skirts ;D Plus it dares to address the expectations that are placed on girls to look pretty all the time in order to get the guy and be happy.
