(Anonymous) 2017-02-16 12:15 am (UTC)(link)But I love the longer, messier hair anyway. It fits more with his eccentric/quirky character and look as as a whole. That, and with the way his hair was styled in seasons 3 and 5 especially, I thought it made him look quite sexy.
I do like his short hair, too, though, especially if it's still got some fluffiness to it and there's still enough to frame his face. But if it's as short and tidy as it was in season 6, then he just doesn't look quite...Reid-like to me. Again, the messy hair just really adds to his character, I think.
*(Course, the greasy look could make sense given the fact that considering how long these guys can sometimes be away on a case and how busy they can be, they may not always be able to wash their hair on a regular basis, so...:p.)
