Whats your favorite so far? I'm not sure yet, but I caught a Wooper and named it Case!

I know very little about Gen Two Pokemon, so they are all surprises to me. I caught a Sudowoodo and it had the best fighting emotes ever.

Also, I want a Houndoom.

I love its in-game animations so I bet it's animations and expressions in Go will be fun.

Wooper's info screen animation, the thing it does if you tap it, is SO cute.

It's been a little laggy and buggy for me (I'm guessing the release prompted super high traffic again, it was almost nostalgic, lol) but I've managed to snag a few so far!

I won't be anywhere that actually spawns pokemon until Monday so I haven't caught any yet. I'm looking forward to finding out what the new equivalent to Pidgey and Weedle that I'll start seeing everywhere is.

Around my town, I have caught:
Teddiursa, Ursaring, Murkrow, Sentret, Furret, Spinarak, Snubbull

I have seen, but was unable to catch:
Swinub, Piloswine, Natu, Miltank

I would like to see the Mareep line, but I'm doubting they'll be around here. We get a very limited pool of Pokemon where I live (gen 1 consisted entirely of Ponyta, Paras, Geodude, Eevee, Pidgey, and Rattata with the occasional Growlithe, Vulpix, Mankey, Pikachu, and Drowzee), so what I saw today will probably be it. Don't live anywhere near water so any water types will be a myth.

Ooh I'd love a Murkrow, Furret, and Teddiursa. I hope I have them around here.

I'm so curious where you live. I have never seen a wild Ponyta or Vulpix and like one each of Geodude, Growlithe, Mankey and Pikachu (except the holiday promo Pikachu which were everywhere).

I was also thinking it was too bad I didn't see any Mareep. You'd think those would be fairly common.

I live in the US Rocky Mountains. I kind of predicted we'd have fire or ground types based on our environment, and it turned out to be fairly true!

I will be going out of town tomorrow, so I hope I might be able to find something new or rare. I really want my electric sheep!

Yes! That's my region.

Ones I've caught: Natu, Xatu, Murkrow, Ledyba, Hoothoot, Spinarak, and Sentret (and enough to evolve into Furret which is adorable).

But seems to be just those in my area. Haven't seen anything else yet.

ha I was binge-catching Sentrets but then I found a wild Furret while I was going to lunch! xD

My neighborhood is covered in Sentrets! Much nicer than the rats it was previously covered in.

I need to get a Wooper to name it that now!

I caught a few last night, but atm I am happiest with my Murkrow

I already have Sentret, Furret, Hoothoot, Wooper (I thought of Case when I caught mine!), Murkrow, Marill, Azumarill, Swinub, Piloswine, Natu, and Spinarak. Also evolved a Crobat, Espeon and Umbreon. (There is a name trick for Espeon and Umbreon!). And I have a Magby that I hatched a while ago when they released baby Pokemon in eggs.

I have the candy to evolve a few more Johto evolutions but they almost all (I think all, in fact, except the three I've gotten) require special items and at this point I'm not sure how to get them! I'm guessing they just drop at stops but are probably rare. I can get a Slowking once I get a King's Rock, and am only one candy away from a Porygon2 (the hospital I work at is a Porygon nest, or at least has been lately, so hopefully I can catch one more soon and get that last candy).

Not sure how anyone is going to effectively get, like, Steelix or Scizor, since their pre-evos are so rare. Buuuut then again I saw a Blissey at a gym this morning and Chansey is pretty rare. I also saw a Togetic at a gym a few weeks ago, I guess they released that evolution together with the baby Pokemon, but those babies all come from 10k eggs! 0__0

Also I'm sad they didn't give us a free starter with the update. ;__;

And I love the streamlining of the wild Pokemon screen and the new berries!!

During the week of Valentine's Day, there was an event that increased the spawn rate of "pink" Pokemon, Chansey included. They were as common in my area as Pidgey and Rattata.

Haha I didn't even notice! And I play daily during the week. I mean I did catch a lot of Jigglypuff for a while but still have never seen a Chansey :(

I used to catch so many Scythers I had to periodically get rid of some. I can have several Scizors right now but the evolution item is going to be hard to come by from what I've heard.

man I'm a bit jelly! I have one Scyther but I hatched it.

What have you heard about the evo items? Have they released any info about them? I haven't heard anything yet

also I wonder if there are Unown and if there will be an Unown dex - that would be so cool
