Yes. I think my feelings would vary, specifically my feelings about feeling weird about it, would change if I was not asexual and not gender-confused*. The fandom and representation thing is a non-issue for me.

*Sometimes I think very strongly that I'm in the wrong body, and sometimes I'm totes okay with who and what I am. But a lot of the time I'm just vaguely confused and uncomfortable and just deal by not thinking about my body. But slash deals a lot with male bodies, and it just will occasionally be an issue for me. I try reading femslash but it just doesn't do it for me so idk. It's a mess in my head.
