Re: ayrt
(Anonymous) 2017-02-18 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)I've only recently managed to behave myself well enough to start saving beyond that initial pull threshold, hahaha. That being said, do you consider tiering to be cost effective? I've only ever tiered twice before, but both times I actually came out with pretty much the same amount of love gems as when I started (albeit I've never tried to tier one). Maybe it's worth tiering after all, just for the exp and hopefully breaking even on gems...
Congratulations on your Pana UR though! I'm glad you were able to pull, that must have been quite a :o shock when the solobox appeared for her birthday, hahaha. Good luck with tiering for YohaRuby AND ALL YOUR FUTURE TIERING ENDEAVOURS!
Re: ayrt
Ohh well, you're talking to someone who is SUPER biased about tiering, so I always advocate it, haha. Tiering is pretty awkward gem-wise between rank 100-130 because you've just got out of halved EXP (which helps you to rank up quickly and save gems) but you're not high ranked enough to use less gems, but apart from that, T2 is pretty much always gem positive (save for the occasional bloodbath, because the English playerbase is bonkers, sigh). Anyway, up to the point where your teams are all idolised SRs with 3 or so skill slots, tiering is great for increasing the strength of your teams. You can usually T2 on 20-30 gems, which will net you 2-5 SRs (based on whether or not it's a double event), whereas a 50 gem scout gives out 2 SRs on average.
Yep, I follow dataminers so when they first discovered her banner, I totally flipped out, AND THEN her box started on the day before her birthday and I flipped out AGAIN because I was just so not mentally ready. So worth it though. And thanks :D I hope you can get into tiering too! It's super fun and rewarding! This YohaRuby event is great to T2 in as well thanks to the new LP multiplier, so you'll be spending a lot less time to T2 this event than you would any other event!
