Maybe you should try looking for a platonic life partner. That's what I'm hoping for (also ace/aro here). I don't know how much luck I'll have though. It's kind of difficult wanting the emotional intimacy and companionship of a relationship but not being attracted to anyone at all.

Those are my thoughts exactly. I would love to find a platonic life partner, but with everyone else wanting a sexual relationship, I don't think I'll ever find one.
