And he conveniently defined pedophilia as attraction to prepubescent children, so as to segue into an argument that it's okay for adults to fuck 13 year olds.

If I'd done the million things that he had done -

He issued a statement saying that he was molested at age 13 and that the stuff he was saying was him trying to rationalize away having been molested as if it was something he actually wanted/was in control of. Which is really sad if true, and I hope he gets counseling, but it doesn't change the fact that people all over the internet are already using what he said as yet more fuel to excuse them wanting to fuck young kids and not caring about consent.

This. I was sexually abused as a kid. Surprisingly enough, I've somehow managed to not do 1/1000th of the shitty things Milo has done. So if he's blameless, do I get a billion dollars and a pony? If we're being fair here.

It's pretty awful but as soon as he mentioned being abused/molested I was like "Ok... That explains a LOT."
