I agree a little.

I like the show and think Scott is okay - I like the idea of him a little better than the execution. There were some inconsistencies of character that were jarring, like what other characters' perceptions of him were versus his actions (but that isn't just a problem with his character). But there were quite a few characters who were more dynamic. I think they tried to do a little more of an ensemble show the last few seasons, but they did it such a weird way - introducing a lot of new characters (which is a bit of a weakness with the show) and then focusing on certain relationships for a big portion of an episode, which is fine for a few episodes, but not a lot of them, especially when it's pretty generic relationship stuff.
