NAYRT, I don't read fluffy nazi fic and hate this ship (because I hate Kylo Ren and think Hux is a nonentity), but I'm pretty sure actual people espousing actual Nazi/neo-Nazi ideals is what allowed them to grow. Mocking Nazi caricatures doesn't make more Nazis; if it did, Mel Brooks would've made tons.
