Putting it on isn't that hard. Keeping it on the lips and off the teeth can be slightly trickier. Finding a shade that's somewhere comfortably in between "same color as my actual lips" and "clown prostitute" -- now, there's the challenge.

I legit have never been able to get lipstick on my teeth in my life. I keep checking since I became aware that was apparently a common danger, but it doesn't happen. I don't know how people do it.

Just check afterward and wipe it off if you do get some on your teeth?

...It's not like they're applying lipstick to their teeth. It transfers afterwards when they, like, talk and stuff? You're probably one of the folks who just doesn't move their mouth very much. Deaf people hate it, but your makeup stays where it's supposed to.

Hmm, seems to me like you'd have to be in the habit of pursing or biting your lips for that happen. I don't do either. Anyway, a nude shade or a very matte lipstick that goes and stays on should mitigate the issue.
