Aw, don't feel bad about your SPN fannishness, OP. It's every bit as legit as anyone's fannishness. Honestly, I think it's too bad that this comm is so down on most large slash fandoms that people actually feel like they need to apologize for being in one. I'm not in SPN fandom myself, but it's one of the pillars of greater fandom, and I love it for that.

And thinking up headcanons and hypothetical scenarios for your favorite characters is one of the things that fandom is all about.

That said, why hate on the AUs, OP? I mean, there's nothing wrong with you disliking them, but they're no more stupid than any other fannish things people create.
