Oh for sure! It's just for me, I tend to get bitter and annoyed by a large chunk of the fandom and/or canon, and I really should let it go and move on. It's more about the joy vs irritation, where I really should just let it go and move on because it's annoying me more than it is fun, yet my brain clings on and refuses to budge.

But as long as you're having fun? Rock on whenever it strikes you!

Ah, okay, I see what you're saying.

I tend to mostly lurk and read a fuck ton of fanfic in my fandoms, so I'll sometimes feel annoyed or disappointed when my fandom has an outbreak of particularly virulent wank, but I'm never involved personally, I'm just a spectator. So I've never had something "ruin" a fandom for me. It's always just, "Gee, it's too bad a vocal minority of us are being dicks right now. Wish they'd cut it out. *goes off to read fanfic*"
