I completely agree. I'm the sort who sticks with a show to the bitter end, but I totally respect other people's decisions to stop watching a show if it isn't doing it for them anymore or a favorite character leaves or whatever. Life's too short to force yourself to stick with something you don't enjoy anymore. All I ever ask is that the people who stop watching don't harass those who are still watching, or vice versa.

As for the rumors about this death, I don't watch "Supernatural" itself, but generally speaking, death rarely tends to stick on supernatural-themed shows much of the time, doesn't it? So it'd be tougher for me, personally, to get TOO bothered about a death on that kind of series compared to one on, say, a crime drama/procedural, where once someone's dead, they're gone for good.

(Unless the character on a supernatural show dies and their actor has zero plans to ever return to the series, that is. In that case, I could see where that'd be particularly upsetting.)
