I'll admit that my only exposure to CLAMP was Cardcaptor Sakura way back when (and Tokyo Babylon, which I'm not sure counts from a romance perspective because actual sociopath), but I feel like they did that whole 'mysterious feelings, mystic destiny, calling souls' thing with a lot of their het relationships as well? Maybe I'm just remembering it that way, but it felt like most of their relationships were the mystic-destiny-super-special kind, regardless of who was involved?

Yeah, CLAMP is big into the whole "destined person" concept in general, be it straight or gay. They do it just as often with m/f couples as they do with m/m couples.
