38. I actually just finished Shaman King last night. And while I enjoyed the series, Bleach is better. The biggest problem with Shaman King is that things really start rushing towards the end and that there is no real ending to the series. It leaves you hanging with something like 6 fights to go plus defeating Hao. From what I heard I understand this isn't entirely the mangaka's fault (I read that JUMP cancelled the series but I don't know if that's true or not). I think Shaman King had potential to be as good as Bleach but without an actual ending that isn't going to happen.

Yeah, it's true that Jump canceled it right when it was close to the end. But the ending is going to be released next year, pending sales of the reprints in Japan. :D

It's good to hear that the real ending is going to be released next year because most of the problems I had with the series came from the current ending (plus I want to see what happens). I think it'll be a lot better story with an actual ending.
