I didn't vote for him, but I kind of agree. People trying to act like he has no claim to his position are no better than the useless birthers during Obama's presidency.

I just want to shake them and go, "Trump is president. Accept it. It's reality. Because the sooner you accept reality, the sooner you can actually DO SOMETHING about it in a constructive way, instead of just sticking your head in the sand or plugging your fingers in your ears going 'la la la I can't hear you!' or spewing hatred all day long."

Plenty of people are doing things. Complaining about him being president or saying stuff like "he's not my president" (no one saying that really believes he's not the actual president..) doesn't stop someone from doing something.

Shaking someone would just make you an ass and wouldn't encourage anyone to do anything, and would be pretty fucking stupid if they were already doing stuff.

I said CONSTRUCTIVE things. Pretending Trump isn't president or has no right to the presidency is not constructive.

And there's no need to take the entire post literally. Saying "I want to shake someone" does not mean you are actually going to physically shake someone until they are convinced you are in the right.
