Roleplaying. However, I also realize now how addictive it was, and not "fun" addictive. I'd stay up until 2 AM when I had classes to roleplay, and I'd get way too emotionally attached to stuff. Also, a lot of players had serious issues. I used to worry one of my RP friends half-believed her characters were real.

Ditto. I used to love RPing, but it used up a hell of a lot of my time, especially if all the other players happened to be online at the same time. I only stopped because it got to be too much to juggle college and work with RPing.

I still RP when I can, but I totally get what you mean by getting too emotionally attached. That's why I just stick to friends now instead of trying to do a bigger game, 'cause that feels more controlled, and we're not all up in each other's grills about how fast we're tagging each other.
