Yeah, I was about to say that Snape gets woobified pretty bad in this fandom, too.

I'd even argue that with Snape it's *worse*. Draco is at least still young and malleable; we know how Snape turned out. Wasn't pretty.

Lol, because in the end he was a hero and that erases every bad thing he ever did or said?? IDK, to me he does count as one of the good guys (with some lovely shades of grey) but he's still a massive dick.

I kinda liked that about him.

I mean, I agree with you, and I liked him as a dick. But my point is that we know that he grew up to be a dick.
Draco is a lot younger, so to my mind there's more leeway to explore his personality and investigate directions by which he could end up NOT being a massive dick.

This has nothing to do with him being a good guy or not.
