I don't think there's anything unreasonable about feeling frustrated about the ubiquity of the trope, because it's a very silly trope.

Sorry that you love Draco or whatever.

I read a TON of fic with Draco and not once have I waded into one where he was """""woobiefied""""--largely because I backbutton as soon as I see it and move on. I'm not sure if people even understand what that means at this point or just think that any story with any amount of redemption for a previously shitty character, regardless of the circumstances, is automatically woobiefying them.

Unless this secret was written by JK Rowling, since I distinctly remember a tweet from her expressing irritation that so many people wanted to see good in Draco when she wrote him as not showing a good side of himself.
