Gold star for you, man.

I set my alarm for 6am, snooze it until 6:51am, get up at 7am, shower, dress, feed the cats, make the bed, and then leave at 7:17am to walk to work.

Every morning I tell myself I'm going to get up when my alarm goes off and be productive (make breakfast) before I leave, but I never do.

Well, to be honest it's a 50/50 chance of hitting snooze and sacrificing breakfast for more sleep. But the rolling out of bed and walking the dog is a must. I have a very high energy dog that goes a little crazy if she doesn't get the minimum of two good walks a day (and off-leash hiking on the weekends).

Jealous of your walking to work!

Haha, yeah, on top of being a little scared of most dogs, they're waaaaay too high maintenance for me.

Yeah, moving closer to work has been a godsend. The rent is waaaay higher here but I only need to put gas in my car every couple of months on average and it's free exercise.
