14. There's nothing wrong with... well, actually giving things a chance instead of hating an entire medium on principle. Do your friends really hate anime so much that they'll mock you forever for liking a few series?

73. I haven't seen Sky High, but I know what you mean about the X-Men/Spiderman movies. I really loved the older comics for both when I was in middle school, and... well, I know it's stupid to complain about the movies screwing with Marvel series, which already get screwed with a lot in their original medium, but the movies were definitely lacking some of the things that I liked about the comics I read. ... Did that make any sense?

Ah, I see. I actually used to be that one friend who hated all anime on principle (once upon a time, a long time ago), so I guess I can see where you're coming from there.

It made complete sense. I liked that the movies were pretty and I honestly wasn't bothered by the change in story, but the mood was lost. I'm a huge Hellboy fan and think the movies while different in story, totally capture the stuff I love about the comic. I know that the have less time in the movies, but would it have killed them to have 20% less ANGST? (I have to admit I about peeded myself when they got Beast right in the most recent one!)
