If so, I'm legitimately curious, and not here to mock you, I promise. How does it work? Why are you here, instead of there? Are they both male, in your universe?

They are both male, but in my world wizards can become pregnant. Not all wizards, just like in your world with all women. Some people are just unable to bare children. But, wizards can become pregnant, it has to do with how our bodies are slightly different physiologically due to the magic within us.
I'm here instead of there because, I'm copying and pasting this from previous explaining:
In the first half of the war (And my world is alternate even to the books in your world so my timeline is a bit different, but things are also similar) my parents put me in an orphanage.
A very powerful angel (And angels can go through the universes since they help build them- especially this angel because he was the original angel) took me from my world (When I was about 2).
He placed me in a body in your world, that the previous soul was dead. It was a babe that was going to be miscarried because the child had died. He did this because he needed my soul to combine with him in the body to keep him alive. In this body I was basically passed out, as the angel lived in this world, in this body.
The angel has been dying for a very long time (That's most of why he needed me in the first place) and I began to get stronger because his hold on me began to weaken as he became sicker. This has been happening the entire lifetime of this body.
When he became closer to death kind of sick I broke into consciousness (The angel isn't fully dead yet still, see below).
Because of the angel repressing me and my memories, I didn't remember my parents, but (See below) I was able to contact my world and after being around my parents, small traces of memories came back to me and I found out they were my parents from their lips.
I’m also in this world because I can’t get back home… life isn’t like the films.
How this works now, isn’t easy. I’m in the same body as the angel, in your world, but we share the same space mentally. It’s really cramped and we fight each other a lot. I’m the one that is dominate now, since he’s towards dying he wants to die so he can be reborn, but he’s been fighting to stay alive so long that part of his brain is refusing to let him die.
I can connect to my world partially (Still physically being here but see my family mentally or having my boyfriend let them come out in his body)(And I’m going to try to make this short) because the angel, being from another universe, he himself was half connected to that world (Called the Meta world) and it opened up me to have the ability to connect to other worlds. The worlds that aren’t my own I can connect to because of the angel being with me, but the world I’m from I’m always going to be partially connected to it unless the tether gets forcefully cut. My boyfriend can take people out in his body because the angel gave him the ability to.

(Anonymous) 2008-05-12 12:24 am (UTC)(link)To clear something up, because I'm rereading and it's not clear I can only connect to worlds that aren't my world or this world (Because I tech. live in this world now) with the angel being here. If he dies I will only be able to connect to my world (Partially- meaning only mentally and allow Antony the ability to let people from my world out in him in your world) and live in this one.
My boyfriend is in this world. Born, from, and is a part of in every way, just like (I'm assuming) you.
If/when the angel dies I will be able to partially connect to my world, but I won't have to be fighting for the control of the mental and physical aspects of this body. I also won't be able to connect to any other universes anymore.

If you show me that I can trust you, then I will give you my Aim name. But, I really must admit that's difficult right now considering the crap I've gotten for my secret. But, if you really want to talk and you're being honest and real and nice than I'm sure we won't have a problem.

(Anonymous) 2008-05-12 02:44 am (UTC)(link)I think that if your feelings and experiences aren't interfering with your life, or causing you distress, then there's nothing wrong with them. If you ever feel that those experiences are getting in the way of work or relationships, or if they frighten or distress you, then it's time to check with a doctor whether everything's OK. (I think that's true for _any_ unusual belief or experience.)
