I'm sick and tired of hearing that hating Bela must mean I hate myself as a woman, when really it just means I actually don't like characters who screw over the good guys on the rare occasion that I'm in a fandom where the good guys are likeable! (Oh HP I don't miss you at all.)

Some of us love female characters, and are just tired of getting poorly-written female characters thrown at us, and then being accused of being sexist when we hate said characters. Bela might have been hot, but she was every cliche in the book.

There are plenty of female characters on SPN that I like. Most of them aren't YOUNG and hot and none of them except Ruby seem to have a prayer of coming back.
Bela just isn't one of them.
I loved Missouri. Loved Ellen. Loved Jo AFTER they stopped trying to ship her. Kinda love to hate Lilith a little.
Who I haven't liked is all the "hot chicks" they've paraded in front of us as eye candy for the M18-44 demographics. The story does not lend itself to girlfriends or Bond girls who've wandered into the wrong genre.
