Extremely cool. Setting aside anything else, the fact that 80% of its fan base is unbearable dudes in fraternities alone would make it cool to hate.

It's basically seen as a dudebro movie now, because like 98% of dudebros will say it is their favorite movie.

I actually genuinely like the book and movie myself, but I definitely get the bad associations.

I've not met a single person say this was their favorite movie. Most dudebros I know say SUPERHERO movie is their fav. Generally A Dark Knight.

I have, and its the worst type of dudebro - the dudebro who is trying to act artsy/pretentious. Its always Fight Club or Pulp Fiction (a movie I love but also has a shitty fanbase associated with it)
