I don't know where you're from, but where I'm from, a teacher who confronts his students with questionable scenarios like this (WTF kind of lesson was this, anyway?) should be able to deal with the word "balls". If they lose their shit over such a mild term... I wouldn't even consider a swear word, to be honest... they're not cut out to be a teacher of children over age 5.
