I do with books all the time, but very rarely with fics. Maybe because the warnings and tags for fics already serve the same purpose for me? It used to drive me mother crazy, because she'd see me start a book, and then five minutes later she would see me at the end, and I'd have to explain to her that no, I didn't speed read a 300-page book in five minutes, I just wanted to see how it ended!
