Yesss. Every time people go "I want to live in (enter fantasy or historical setting here) world" I keep thinking "No way, I love modern standards of hygiene far too much." .

There's a tumblr post that's something along the lines of "In a post-apocalyptic world ya'll go on and strap armor to your cars and milk cockroaches or whatever, I know when the soft toilet paper runs out I'm just going to lay down and die." and I relate to that so much.

Plus without my glasses I'm at 'can't clearly see what's around my feet' levels of blindness, so unless there's magical ways of fixing that I'm boned. I'm not nearly coordinated enough to become a Magical Blind Swordsman. I'd be the weird old lady in the robe giving out cryptic advice for the heroes to ignore... which would be pretty cool actually, but I'd miss reading.
