Uh... Is there anything particularly wrong with that?

Hmm, maybe I am being lolsensitive. And I was definitely very rude to the OP.

It's just the implication that home education= unadjusted types, when that's not always the case. Lots of people come out of 'proper' education that way as well.

I didn't put it quiiiiite that strongly, but I was a little "Oh no, please don't make us all seem like we're scarred for life because of our schooling" when I saw that secret, too. ^^;; I'm a little screwy, but it's not because I was homeschooled, agh!

Exactly :D

I agree that it's not always the case, but there's really no such implications in the secret. OP didn't say "home education keeps people from developing a real sense of a identity", she said that's what happened to her personally. It doesn't mean that her experience applies to everyone. People react to the same experiences in different ways.

I mean, I'm not very well adjusted. Thinking back at my childhood, I'd say that part of this may be because moving back on forth between two continents kept me from developing meaningful friendships. But it would be silly of me to imply that this happens to everyone who grows up in a similar situation.

Agreed :/ *facepalm*
