I like KHReborn and after 80+ episodes I still haven't found a pairing I'm interested in. I don't think I'm the only one, either. D:

I've only read up to volume 14 (watched up to 14 or so), and I don't ship anything except Lussuria/Ryohei, and I don't see the basis for any of the really popular pairings at all.

There's plently of KHR fans who weren't into the pairings or only canon ones. Despite me pairing everyone right and left, I only see pairing as an extra bonus than a requirement to like the series. I would love Reborn as much as any other series I don't ship a thing in.

Plus, I think a whopping majority of the fans actually like it for the story. Sure it isn't the most original thing out there, but it's well executed for the most part and know how to balance goofiness and serious business. It helps that it has one of the most likable casts IMO. The only other manga I like the sweeping majority of the cast are Monster and Eyeshield 21.

But the OP of the secret likes us to be very serious business and very enlightened of what manga to read, not for fun like it supposed to be.

Haha, that's like the exact opposite of me-- every single character, two characters, or 3+ characters I could take as pairing/moresome or gen. BUT I'M CRAZY and just love different character interactions, and am intrigued by how friendship makes two people interact differently from purely sexual relationship, and how that's different from requited or nonrequited love situations...

I ramble. :'D Point being, yes, I love the ships. I also love the gen. Because I love the damn characters and, yes, also think the Reborn cast is one of the most loveable casts of any series ever (haven't loved an ENTIRE cast so much since I think Cowboy Bebop- or possibly YYH kjhfajfhal D:). And the idea that the series have to be HISTORICALLY ACCURATE, GUYS, YOU CAN'T HAVE SOME RIDICULOUS PREMISE LIKE A MAFIA STORY THAT ISN'T REALLY ABOUT THE REALLY REAL REAL LIFE REALISTIC MAFIA is absolutely ridiculous. The OP needs to be reading normal school-based or real-world based series, because obviously anything that is not just like real life is too wonky and will make their head explode.
