I like the *idea* of Scott far more than I like the character. idk, there's something sexy about him being unable to control his powers, or being forced to open his eyes and destroying stuff, or struggling to keep his eyes shut 'cause he's afraid of hurting someone.

I agree he has potential, but in practice he often is in the role of the still mostly privileged white dude. Also I feel he's often forced into leadership role, while others are just as competent (but maybe less rigid).
