Re: how does one go about finding a job in a city you don't live in?
(Anonymous) 2017-03-08 03:13 am (UTC)(link)If you don't work that type of job, your best bet is to probably just move. It shouldn't (hopefully) take too long to find a job at a Starbucks or something.
It really depends on the type of job you want, but yeah. I got my job remotely and interviewed by phone, and then moved after I was offered the job. It definitely can be done, but I do think you are at a slight disadvantage if you are not in the city. Just keep tossing resumes left and right though. Even if it's just for a job "to get by" until you find something closer to your desired career path.
