Re: TMI-health and vagina stuff

I ordinarily use the topical cream, which are said to be more effective than the suppository. But that also involves inserting a plastic tube and squirting it up inside yourself, unfortunately. Also, as tempting as it sounds to get the kind that requires only three days, my experience is that you can get to the end of those three days and all the bad yeast isn't quite dead yet. Get the 7 day.

There is also a pill you can take orally, Diflucan is the brand name. I think you might have to ask for it at the pharmacy. You can also ask for a consult with the pharmacist for more suggestions.

And please consider getting a primary care physician you can speak to comfortably, because dealing properly with health issues is going to require a lot of TMI details. Going to the internet will do in a pinch, but it's really not ideal.

Seconding the definitely go for the seven-day dose, also because the shorter dosages are stronger and you can end up having unpleasant reactions if you're sensitive. I tried the three-day dose once and NEVER AGAIN, yet the seven-day one didn't bother me at all.
