#2. Haha. I actually really like that idea. It's be the complete epitemy of geek, but it'd be awesome none the less.

Um...While there might have been a couple of girls that I've identified with, I usually feel closer to the boys as well. o.o Personally, I don't think it really means that there is something wrong with you, just that you identify with the personalities, emotions, or backgrounds of those characters more. If those exact attributes were given to a female character, you'd probably identify with them instead.
#26. He DIED?! We are talking about the actor here, right? I've been away from the fandom for too long, that's very depressing to hear.
#30. Teenaged fan of the show here! I tried looking for a fandom for the show a while back but I couldn't find anything active. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough but a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
#47. And that's the sad and awful truth. I haven't gotten far in either series but so far, while Nabari no Ou is good, overall it seems like nothing more than your average shonen. Soul Eater on the other hand has pretty much devoured my soul (no pun intended, seriously). It has such wonderful characters and an awesome storyline, yet because of its lack of ninjas, there's a good chance that it won't go too far.

I think you pretty much nailed it. There are several female characters that I adore and can identify with, and they do have similar personalities and backgrounds as my guy faves. Thanks. :D

I don't know where people get the idea that Nabari no ou is shounen... it's shoujo. It has ninja, yeah, but otherwise it's only as shounen as Zombie Loan and Kuroshitsuji (= not very much). Soul Eater, on the other hand, is a shounen fight anime/manga,it's going to run for 50+ episodes, it's loud and energetic and over the top, it has eccentric characters and a mainstream appeal, and it's already way more popular than Nabari (which is a rather niche show, will run for 26 or so episodes, and after everyone is going to forget it except for the LJ comm and people who read the manga).

I prefer Nabari of the two, but really, Soul Eater has way more potential to have a large-ish and active fandom.
