Dagnabbit I disbelieve it is dead! Megaman is still living, nothing Capcom does is ever truly dead!... although at the moment, the best hope for seeing BoF-chars is a fanservice laden mega-crossover game with a fantasy and demon theme Capcom is involved with, and that is a sad fact.

Mega Man's on life support. The only series that's really still going on is Star Force, and no one knows how long that'll last. They might not even continue ZX, and that's the only 2D platformer Mega Man game they currently make.

Well, Capcom's working with a bunch of other characters to make X Edge, which is a crossover. So far no Mega Man characters in that. I'm skeptical as to whether there's any chance, to be honest. Capcom has Devil May Cry, Biohazard, and Monster Hunter. It doesn't need its older series that don't make as much money as they used to.
