Not really. But I'm known for being nice. But if you were 20, worked a full time job and went to college full time, would you really be best friends with a 30 year old who hasn't bothered to move out of her parents' basement? I think not. And I don't feel I should have to change that for the internet =(

And trust me, if they knew how you felt, I'm sure they wouldn't want to be your friend, either. I know that I hate people who treat others like shit because they are "spechul kollege stoodents." Worked with one of those for a while. Glad I never have to fucking see her smug little ass again.

See, the main reason I commented was because of the emphasis on "nice" in your secret. I found the need to maintain the reputation of being nice rather than being actually considerate disheartening.

I'm not going to defend this person in your secret, whose circumstances I know nothing about, but it's sad to see how you base your self worth on things that not everyone has access to, including education and a job. They are things that can go also go away very quickly. And while you may criticize someone for not making much of themselves, you're still validating your own self-worth by what they apparently have little of.
