Anime, or the manga? Because the second half of the anime was full of WTF and "lol we need to fix the plotholes we made in season 1!!"

That was pretty much my reaction to that. The second anime series out-CLAMP's CLAMP and Hikaru gets all slashy with the personification of her guilt or some such nonsense.

As far as I know the entire reasoning for that was that the director had an unused character design from another production that he wanted to put to use.

Are you serious? That's what Nova was?

I've never gotten to watch the anime because I can't find it all in the same place, but I thought the entire manga seemed fine. But Nova has always thrown me for a loop. ...I think that's her name?

I really liked the "MKRII" additional characters. Tarta and Tatra, Lady Aska, they were fun.
