Except from the countries (like in Europe or Latin America) where living with your parents is perfectly normal. And where unemployment is the highest rated problem.

i'm working under the assumption that, if there were any mitigating factors such as the ones you mentioned, the OP wouldn't have a problem with that person's situation, or at least would've mentioned such circumstances in their rant. surely the OP knows whether or not that person CAN hold a job, and the impression i got was that he/she is only irritated because the person chooses NOT to. if the fandom is as close-knit as the secret implies, surely the OP is aware of any circumstances that would actively prohibit that person from getting a job.

You're right, we can't know about the person the OP is talking about. He/she could either indeed be an ungrateful leech or the OP might not be aware of what issues of health or cultural differences he/she may be into.

However, your comment seemed to be directed towards everyone unemployed and/or living with their folks.
