Tumblr Queue

I've seen a lot of people tag posts that they put in their queue as being part of the queue. What is the purpose of this?

The only thing I can figure it to indicate they are not online "live" so can't chat or answer messages?

This is why I do the queue--so people know I'm not online directly.

Teachers Aide/Assistant position?

(Anonymous) 2017-03-09 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Has anyone here had a job as a teachers aide or instructional assistant in a public school (USA)? My job is going downhill fast so I've been looking around. A friend, who works in a public school, suggested instructional assistant. You'd often get the 10.5 month schedule, it's fun and working with kids, and it doesn't require a degree. I have a lot of experience working as a teacher in preschool and daycares, and administration, but sadly no actual degree. So this sounded like a good fit. But idk.

I have, you sound like you should have enough experience to be an aide! Working with kids in a sort of educational setting puts you ahead of the curb,

Make sure the school district itself is good. If it's one that doesn't care about their kids, you can bet they don't care about their staff either.

I work as an IA now, but in special ed. It's pretty fun and I love the kids, but I'm lucky to work in a great environment with some really cool people. I subbed before getting hired and some of the sites I worked at had really unsupportive staff and made the day either boring or miserable.

Brazilian TV

Anyone got any recommendations? I'm studying the language and I'd like something fun to practice with. Can be either original programming or some good dubs.

(Suggestions for European Portuguese TV are welcome, too.)
