For years I was triggered by the song "White Christmas" because of something that happened to me while it was playing. One of my friends is triggered by references to bicycle accidents because she nearly lost her sister in one. I'm sure that someone out there is triggered by references to underage drinking, and that artist is triggered by eggs and bacon.

Triggers are personal and can look pretty stupid from the outside. That doesn't mean they aren't triggers.

But BECAUSE triggers are so personal, it is impossible to ever warn for everything that could possibly trigger someone. I'm not going to warn for underage drinking and breakfast any more than I would expect someone else to warn for Christmas carols.
