I WAS SO CLOSE TO MAKING A SECRET ABOUT THIS. I hadn't gotten around to it, but yes to all those things. I know it's an inevitable problem when an actor leaves the show, but the continuity and characterization issues that causes is so frustrating. When Reid was in trouble in Mexico, I could maybe understand Hotch not coming back to help in whatever way he could, but there's no way Morgan would've stayed away. NO WAY.

And yeah, they're so eager to integrate the new team member into the fold that it often feels very rushed and artificial to me, as if they became BFFs in a week. I don't think it was as noticeable earlier on when the cast was more stable, but now that so many changes have happened, it's hard to have everything make sense.
