Some American chocolate is okay but I don't think Reese's is very good. It's better than Hershey's tho

(Also I hope it came off this way but I was interpreting this exchange in a "light jesting about unimportant topics" sort of vein. I'm not actually going to be angry if someone likes Reese's chocolates. it doesn't make sense but I'm not mad about it)

Yeah, joking's great. I just wince when someone says something like, "I like [insert band name here]!" and the next response is something like, "[insert band name here]'s music comes straight from the bowels of Satan."

It just seems like a really blunt joke to make to someone you presumably don't know very well.

Someone who says they like a certain band isn't necessarily baring their soul, either. Doesn't mean that getting in their face and letting them know you think their favorite band sucks sweaty cave troll balls isn't a teensy bit rude.
