2 - Hmm. That pretty much sucks. But seriously, if they don't care, you should try not to either.
3 - I need to get a sub of this. I got a copy of the English, but it was a dub! I couldn't believe there wasn't even an option for the Japanese and English subtitles! :(

6 - Hmm, that also sucks. But, maybe you can check out some more canonical comms and sites? There has to be stuff like that out there for the fandoms you're looking for. Maybe ask on a message board or something?

24 - I so stopped watching Power Rangers after the first two or three seasons. Once they got rid of the original characters, it just sucked. Although, I guess technically the Japanese version was better since it was funnier. Still.

26 - I wish I was in a small fandom so I could be considered one of the best writers. Oh well. I'll always end up being just another fic author in a sea of the popular fandoms.

30 - Yeah, I know how you feel. I recently found out one of my favorite fic authors is five years younger than me. I was like O.O;;
31 - What fandom?
32 - FFVI FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!! This series got me into the world of RPG video games, video games in general, and role-playing. My sister loves Locke/Celes, I love Locke/Terra, and we've had years to hate each other for it. We just don't bring it up. :P But yes, FFVI and VII were the two best FFs in my opinion, in every way. Forget the pretty visuals, I want great characters and plot! :)
33 - Good luck. Ship wars are harsh. I'm not even in that fandom, but yeah. Stay out of it, if you can.
35 - Comic book fandom IS elitist. I avoid it. Forget about them--write the fic and say it's movie!verse. People can suck it.
40 - Odd secret. But, I've seen people who try to practice real magic, religions and such that offer that, and it's sort of creepy and the effects are totally not worth it. Instead of feeling depressed for it not being real, why not make original stories about what you want? Or submit stuff to the fandom. You can live out your fantasies in that way, at least. Role-playing's good, too.

I think they do exist, but I'm a huge fanon slash shipper, so I'm the wrong person to ask. I think it would take finding some fanfic authors and fanartists who produce stuff you like and asking them where they go. *shrugs*

- great writing (sure, it's the same as the manga, but it's been streamlined and made less chaotic; also, Kuroda Yousuke is just a much better writer than the mangaka)
- beautiful artwork (both the designs and the realization; and the animation is very good throughout the show);
- awesome voice acting;
- very nice insert songs, used with great sense of timing.
All in all, I prefer the anime to the manga, it's just much more alive and vibrant, and the writing is better as well. I say watch the first episode, it's worth the try.
