Hmm... I thought it was something like that. I really preferred old-school CLAMP drawing, particularly CCS, X, MKR, and the like. I'm a fan of the very detailed stuff. I've seen a few episodes of Geass, and while I like the characters and plot, the drawing style IS hard to get into.

Yeah, I like their older stuff as well. I'll confess that I haven't read much of the newer things - I read a little, was disappointed, and decided that until they start doing stuff I like again, well, no one's making me read the new stuff.

The art style is really funky, but I think it works. It takes some getting used to, but the show is constantly over the top and a little ridiculous, so I think a less silly style wouldn't have worked as well. All the same, the art isn't really one of my favourite aspects of the show. =/

Well, I think fame has gone to CLAMP's heads a bit. Tsubasa is basically a huge fan-service (not that I'm really complaining too much), and they're ignoring xxxHolic a lot. I don't know, I think they just need to relax and get their jive back. Taking some times off might help, if the rabid fans didn't kill them for it. :P

Also, I friended you b/c I stalk people who seem cool. And your FFVII obsession is made of win. :D
