Apparently, there are over 30 novels plus assorted drama cds, art books, etc. If you try to shove all that material into 13 episodes of anime and an OVA, or even half of that material, or even a third of that material, you're just bound to fail. They make movies of single books and have trouble squeezing it all in. Their problem was that they tried to do waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much with too little. It just doesn't work that way.

I'm not mad at the lack of hot sweaty sex, I like that constant tension they had going on. I'm just mad that they spat out such a stunted project. There's so much potential there and we get this super condensed, often times confusing little teaser. That makes me mad. =/
