Yes, it is a repeat. That was my fault.

Likewise, I am sorry you seem to hold a grudge against two people who say more than "OMFG I LUV U" and actually state their opinions, negative or positive. And let's not forget the fact that they did this on their own journals, and did not link to the fic, flame or otherwise harass any author of whatever they were commenting on.

Not everyone is going to OMG LOVE your writing, and that's okay. What no one seems to notice is that it's an opinion, and that they did the equivalent of someone saying "wow, that movie sucked" on their own journal. But no movie writer comes and yells at them, do they?

I'm also sorry you can't seem to look past the criticism they apparently gave you and see that they're actually very pleasant people. As for their talent, if you think they have none, well, that's simply your opinion, isn't it? I just happen to have a differing one.

This is all assuming you are upset with them for that huge DGM Wank Fest a good while ago. Oops if I'm wrong, but I personally can't see any other reason for your disdain.

Please don't think I need "omfg lol i luv uuuu" comments to validate my writing existence. I'm well aware of what it means to have differing opinions. You spoke yours - this is mine. I don't think they necessarily are the alpha and omega of good writing.

I couldn't give a crap about DGM. They never criticized my writing -

asinglulargirl and I were good friends (or so I thought) and she actually liked my writing a lot, I hers, and she inspired me. The problem is that they up and ditched a bunch of their old friends without word or reason, and then proceeded to not only talk about us behind our backs, but to blatantly make comments such as "I don't really care about so-and-so."

My disdain is because I don't see them as pleasant - I see them as cruel. I spent a lot of time and effort on ASG, a person who turned out to be flippant and rude, who stole ideas from her friends, and who couldn't even bring herself to say anything to my face about why suddenly I wasn't worth her time. And this is after I offered my support to her during the whole DGM stupidity which wasn't even my fandom. If you wanna be a bitch, be it to my face. So fine, maybe it's sour grapes and a broken heart - but don't think that they've grown past that. They turned off a number of fans and hurt a lot of people.

But anyway, if you want to talk to them, go talk to them. They're both humans, after all. I cared very much about them once. And I'm only anonymous to protect the other people they badly hurt.

That being said, I appreciate you responding in dialogue instead of just shouting.

Except for the part where they did just the opposite and very pointedly tried to be PA in a fandom where it's small enough if you mention a small part of a fic, everyone knows what you're talking about. Instead of, you know, offering proper concrit like someone who hasn't been raised by wolves would do.

Let's also look at the fact that their own writing? Not that spectacular. It's definitely not good enough to excuse their attitude. You know, the fun one of "I did something wrong, instead of sincerely apologizing I'm just going to be sorry I got called out and turn things around back on the people who did the calling." Right, they're such an inspiration and someone you should definitely try to be like. Good job picking role models there.
